my space.

Creativity comes at any time, but I find that having a space filled with inspiration is best.

Make it stand out.

  • Studio.

The space an artist works in is all relative to who they are and the intention of the art being made. It is a sacred space where artists should be fueled with new energy to thrive creatively. I work in a small closed off studio cubby in my school's art room. I like this confined space, it feels very private and intimate. My space is decorated with images and my completed paintings to generate ideas. It started out a clean white area but over time has been filled with paint and inspiration.

  • Gallery.

This year I was lucky enough to have some of my artworks selected and featured in an art exhibition at school. Both my paintings and photography were displayed. I find putting the art I create out into the world daunting, but this exhibition in particular was for a good cause. The proceeds of the art were donated to a refuge centre.
